Mobility Impaired

The museum is well provided for if your mobility is impaired. Access is level, the floor surfaces are firm, and there are lift alternatives to the upper floor. If you prefer to use the stairs and can do so, there are handrails on both sides. The main entrance doors are always open and a friendly member of staff is always on hand to help.

Chairs are available on both floors if you need to rest.

Disabled Carparking

From Main Square carpark -a flat surface, without steps leads directly in to the museum. Alternatively, visitors can be dropped off in Service Area 1 where there is a flat surface to the museum entrance.
